This is a painting of the character Han Solo from the movie Star Wars played by Harrison Ford. I did this for practice in my spare time. Based on a photo I found on tumblr.
It's been awhile since my last update. Now that school is done, I can concentrate on painting and building an online portfolio. I'm doing more of these studies in order to improve my skills at painting in photoshop
These are a couple Environment Paintings I did with the idea of a futuristic fortress in mind. I did a second variation to give the painting a slightly different feel and story
This is a high resolution bust done using Maya and Zbrush. Some of the objects (face, helmet, cloth fabric) are using normal maps. This is a 3D interpretation of a concept by the artist Brad Wright. Here is a link to the piece:

This is a character I modeled using Maya and Zbrush with the intention of having it be game resolution. She is complete with normal, diffuse, and spec maps. The smaller images are screen grabs taken from Maya viewport while the larger one is taken from the game engine Marmoset.

This is a game resolution tree I built for a private game project. So far it just has the diffuse and alpha for the leaves as well as the alpha for the trunk
head sculpt for my Zbrush class with Mr. Mark Dedecker. This sculpt is to lay out the forms of the head before the details. Looks off from the character concept but satisfied with how it turned out. I used Terry Crews for reference
